What's Going On uses a serif typeface and warm cream palette on purpose — it should feel more like a kitchen notebook than a Notification Center.

Calendar events from Google Calendar show alongside manual family tasks, with each family member's items color-coded. Tap to mark done, swipe to delete, drag to reorder.

What's in the preview.

Three-day window: Yesterday, today, and tomorrow pages with swipe navigation. No calendar grid, no month view — just the days that matter right now.
Manual + calendar items: Add a one-off task ("Bring oranges to soccer") or subscribe to a Google Calendar via iCal. Both show up together, sorted by time.
Family members & colors: Each family member gets a colored dot. Tag items to a person so it's clear who they're for.
Tags: Group items by category (school, work, kids, errands) with custom colors.
Recurring tasks: Daily, weekly, biweekly, or weekdays-only recurrence with smart skip handling.
Pin important items: Stick today's most important task to the top.
Shopping list: One shared list. Tap to mark bought, swipe to delete, drag to reorder. Active and done items are separated.
